Dear all respected members of the Korean Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology,

As the new year of 2023 has come, I wish all members of the Korean Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology a healthy and warm year.

I wish all members’ health who are working upfront in the clinics despite the difficult situation of the long-term COVID19, and I hope that this year will be a year to escape from this pandemic to expand exchanges between various members.

In 2023, the Korean Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology is composed of new executive directors and is about to make a new start. It is a great honor for me to serve as the 8th president of the Korean Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology for two years from now on, and I will do my best to make our society warm and friendly with academic and social contributions.

Despite the COVID-19 quarantine, Korean Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology will continue to be actively engaged in active activities following the successful 20th anniversary academic event and publication of a booklet.

In addition, in 2025, the 10th Asia Pacific Pediatric Otolaryngology Group Conference (APOG), an international academic conference, is scheduled to be held in Korea. We ask for the interest and participation of our members.

We appreciate the love and interest you have shown during the past years. In the new year of the Year of the Rabbit in 2023, we will do our best to become an academic society that takes off wonderfully by receiving the energy of the rabbit, which symbolizes 'happiness and auspiciousness' and 'cleverness and wisdom'.

I wish you a Happy New Year, always stay healthy, and I hope your new year will flourish and be filled with joy and happiness.

January 1st, 2023

President of Korean Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology,
